WARRANTY & POLICIES

Warranty:
Parts are covered by warranty for 30 days from the date of purchase. Immediate replacement is given if defective in workmanship. Our liability is limited to the replacement of the defective part or refund of the purchase price.  This warranty does not cover diagnostic, installation labor and/or final paint finish.  A good mechanic should thoroughly clean and inspect the part(s) prior to installation. No replacement is given if broken by customer. We do not accept, nor are we responsible for the manner in which any of these products are used. Neither seller nor manufacturer shall be liable for any loss, injury or damage, direct or consequential, arising from the use of, or the inabilities of the product. After use, the user shall assume all risk and liability whatsoever in connection therewith.

Merchandise Returns:
Please OPEN AND inspect ALL the merchandise UPON ARRIVAL.  Any merchandise which is NOT defective or damaged* may be returned for exchange, refund, or credit and will be subject to a 20% restocking charge.  After six months, a 50% restocking charge will be applied. No returns, exchanges or credits will be issued on merchandise after one year.  Special order items are not returnable.  Unfortunately we do not refund original shipping and handling fees placed on catalog and on-line orders.  If you cancel your order after the item has been shipped, shipping and handling costs will not be refunded. 

ALL MERCHANDISE RETURNS MUST BE MADE WITH TRANSPORTATION CHARGES PREPAID; WE CAN NOT ACCEPT COLLECT SHIPMENTS. ABSOLUTELY NO CLAIMS PAID WITHOUT PRIOR AUTHORIZATION. ITEMS PURCHASED FROM DEALERS CAN NOT BE RETURNED DIRECTLY TO STEINER TRACTOR PARTS, INC.

All returned merchandise must include:
1)  Copy of invoice / packing slip
2)  Return Authorization Number
3)  Merchandise Return Form

A return authorization number (RGA) may be requested via e-mail.  Please include your name, customer number, part number(s) being returned and the reason for the return.  The RGA will be e-mailed back to you with additional return instructions.

*Book / Manual & VHS / DVD Policy:
Steiner Tractor Parts, Inc. does not accept returns for exchange, refund, or credit on books / manuals and VHS / DVD tractor repair videos.

*Electrical Parts Policy:
Steiner Tractor Parts, Inc. does not accept returns for exchange, refund, or credit on electrical parts.

*Paint Policy:
Steiner Tractor Parts, Inc. does not accept returns for exchange, refund, or credit on parts due to paint color. The paint is strictly a primer to prohibit rust. It is impossible to color match the paint due to several paint codes that have been changed throughout the years by the tractors' manufacturers. The parts must be repainted and in some cases stripped and repainted.

Backorder Policy:
Backorders will be shipped as soon as the merchandise is received, unless cancelled by the customer. Orders cancelled after shipping will be subjected to freight charges and a 20% restocking fee.  If desired, backorders may be cancelled via e-mail.  Include your name, customer number and the part(s) to cancel.  A cancellation confirmation will be e-mailed back to you.

Damage Shipments, Shortages & Shipment Errors:
In the event of damage, shortage or an error to any shipment, please contact us immediately via e-mail at sales@steinertractorparts.com (must notify us within 30 days) for instructions.  Please save all of the original packaging!
